Critical to the safe running of tram and train systems, the Sensys APMS constantly monitors carbon collectors and analyses the carbon fibre surface, warning of damage to current collectors and thus eliminating risks leading to power cable failure. It is estimated carbon-related incidents caused 30% of the total undesired breakdowns of the Swedish train network, before the installation of Sensys systems by the Swedish National Rail Administration.
